This Summer was amazing! That may be why winter is hitting me hard this year. I really shouldn’t complain, this past weekend we had 50 degree weather with plenty of sunshine.

Today is rainy with no sunshine to be found, so I thought I would dream up some recipes for this summers camping adventures.

One of my goals is to become an expert in cooking with the Dutch oven, especially mastering a chocolate cake recipe with it.

The more research I do, the more intimidated I am.

I am a more ‘trial and error’ then ‘research and practice’ kind of girl. Once spring comes I plan on experimenting in our fire pit in the backyard.
